Hi, I'm Dr. Dave Candy, owner of More 4 Life!

Are You Still Having Pain After Back Surgery?

Maybe you've been told by your surgeon that "the surgery was successful" and that everything looks good on the post-operative x-rays, or even a repeated MRI... and that's true from a surgical standpoint.

Your structure looks good and the  surgeon did his or her job well.

But YOUR definition of success is to get relief from the pain you had before surgery AND to be able to get back to doing the activities that you need and want to do.

Perhaps you've been told at this point that your options are to learn to live with the pain, or "We could try doing a  second surgery" perhaps on the level above or below the first surgery.

If you're still having pain after back surgery, do you really want to "try" a second surgery?

Think about it.  You went into your first surgery hoping that you'd get rid of your back pain.

But if you're still having pain after the first back surgery, what makes you think the second surgery will be any different?

Second back surgeries are a coin toss...

Success rates with second surgeries go down to about 50%, meaning that you have equal chances of success or failure.  And with lumbar fusions, only 1 in 3 is successful!

With the cost of surgery, risk of complications, and low success rates, it makes you really wonder if the potential benefits of having a second back surgery outweigh the risks.

Instead, I'd like to offer you an alternative option... one to help you discover how people just like you can gain control over ongoing pain and mobility limitations, even if you've already had a back surgery!

If you're visiting this page, you've probably had a back surgery, or at least are considering one.

If you had high hopes going into the first back surgery, only to be disappointed, then you may be weighing whether it's better to just accept the ongoing pain after back surgery or to spend even more money on a second back surgery, understanding that:

  • You might still have pain after then second back surgery
  • The pain could possibly get worse
  • You could develop leg pain or other complications after surgery.

And it would be remiss not to mention that anytime you have anesthesia for surgery, there's a small but real chance that you might not wake up.

If you'd like to discover an alternative to a second back surgery, then I'd like to invite you to have  FREE Discovery Visit with one of the back pain specialists at our office.

During the Free Discovery Visit you'll discover:

Why you're still having pain after back surgery

and

What can be done to help you relieve your back pain without having another surgery

I've worked with hundreds of with people just like you who have chronic back pain months or even years after a back surgery.

And what I can tell you from experience is that if the first surgery didn't work, it's unlikely that a second one will.

The reason is, that surgery doesn't fix the underlying cause of your back pain.

Yes, surgery does fix the bulging or herniated disc in your back.  Or surgery may relieve pressure off of a pinched nerve.

But the thing that surgery DOESN'T DO is correct the problem that CAUSED the disc to herniate or the nerve to get pinched in the first place.

That's what we do different at More 4 Life.

We help people find and address ROOT CAUSE of their back pain so that they don't need another surgery.
